Fabrication of custom flatpack lumber rack of our own design. Made of lightweight half inch plywood, some pre-primed one by fours and two two by fours. This rack held up over two thousand pounds of materials for over two years. Plywood rack on each side, center compartments for eight foot material and a unique telephone line style upper rack affords space for eight, ten and twelve foot material. Lumber rack is on wheels for mobility as we are often changing out space planning based in current work scenarios. We did find out post build that one person really can't move the rack with 2000+ pounds of material loaded on. Many woodworkers we speak with say don't save any post project scraps as they don't want to be in the storage business. We find it helpful to have a scrap of this and that on hand in a pinch.
