This DIY Laser Engraver project base cabinet will house some of the electronics and cooling system for the laser chassis that will sit a top. Custom shell panels shell are set in the frame grooves which is made of extruded aluminum. Panels of color cored MDF, Luan plywood and polycarbonate. We started in CAD by producing 3D renders from our 3D modeling program, Fusiion360. This DIY Laser Engraver project base frame is utilizing extruded aluminum stock with a mixture of natural and anodized black for a particular aesthetic what we like. The laser base cabinet has polycarbonate wall material inset in a uniquely designed framing support. The framing panels slide into the T-slot tracks prior to fastening the base top. The clear plastic panels can be removed at any time for servicing or expansion. Window panels are secured with anodized knurled thumbscrews. Floor panels have a unique CNC milled pattern and logo engraved which also matches the side branding.
