PEV Labs fabricated two production runs of these Snowing In Space beer tap handles. SIP is a Nitro Brewed Cold Coffee company. They offer in officer kegerator product as a service, along with on the shelf to to go. The business side utilizing kiosk dispensing allows employees and guess self serve which in turn require a custom tap handle much like brewery equipment dispensing. The First tap handle run was with CNC milled in sold 5/4 poplar. We made a jig to mill the face and letter engraving on the side of the tap handles. The second production run was resin cast, then fancy pants painted. Started with a 3D printed a master which we then made a silicon mold from. From the mold we cast 25 unit small run manufacturing in epoxy resin. The resin version require less sanding and less milling time.
